Lifeguard Training Course
The South County Family YMCA will be hosting American Red Cross Lifeguard and CPR-Pro classes. You must have both certifications to become a Red Cross Certified Lifeguard.
Participants with current CPR-Pro Certification only need to take the Lifeguard Class. Re-certification is available.
Participants must be 15 years old, be able to swim 500 yards, tread water for two minutes, and retrieve a diving brick from the deep end of the pool.
Included in the course: CPR for Professional Rescuer, First Aid Training, AED Training, and Lifeguard Training, Oxygen Training, CPR pocket Mask and Fox 40 Whistle, Fanny Pack and Lifeguard Book.
